During the Christmas season, we are surrounded by the sights and sounds of being joyful. For many of us who have lost a child, we just want this time of year to be over. We don’t see joy being part of our lives ever again.

In this episode, Laura shares from week three in her book Hope for the Future: An Advent Journey for Bereaved Parents which tackles the topic of joy during the Christmas season.

This was the first year I participated in the advent devotional with you live on Sunday night. Thank you for taking the time to meet with us as bereaved parents during the Christmas season. I bought the book and have been reading it and tuning in to your live chat Sunday evenings. I hope to listen to more of the podcasts too. Thank you for shining your light in our darkness as parents who have lost a precious child.

I thought I replied to this… so sorry. You are so very welcome. I pray that what you hear is helpful and gives you hope and encouragement as we walk this unwanted journey together.
